Helping Hands emergency financial assistance is available for caregivers who are facing financial hardship. This program is available to provide financial assistance (up to a $2,000 lifetime limit) to caregivers facing an unforeseeable financial emergency.
Eligible caregivers who register with Brightside will have access to programs such as Helping Hands, and get paired with a personal Financial Assistant who can help with all things related to money – including submitting the Helping Hands application online.

Any full-time or part-time caregiver who is experiencing a crisis or catastrophe that has created an emergency need for financial assistance. Per diem, temporary, and/or independent contractors are not eligible for Helping Hands.

Based on their assessment of the information you provide from the interview, application, and supporting documents, a Brightside Financial Assistant will refer you to all applicable personal and/or community resources, which may include Helping Hands.
